- Lead regional HR Operations team activities
- Ensure a strong functional team through effective recruiting, training, coaching, team building, recognition, performance management, development, and succession planning
- Interview and hire new team members
- Provide performance-related feedback and guidance
- Resolve team performance-related issues
- Drive individual development plans
- Drive engagement and recognition activity plans
- Ensure business continuity and succession plans
- Monitor team performance and objectives
- Supervise Regional HR Operations Advisors' daily activities
- Serve as the final escalation point for customer calls and inquiries
- Triage and resolve escalated Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 requests as needed
- Publish monthly executive dashboards/KPI metric reporting
- Ensure all audit and compliance activities and requests are adhered to for the region
- Proactively manage relationships with other key functional areas including Payroll, Finance, HRIS, HRBPs, and IT
- Liaison with external payroll and benefit vendors as needed
- Serve as a SME or lead on HR Projects and improvements as needed, including UAT and requirements gathering
- Consult and implement regional integration activities for mergers and acquisitions
- Monitor SLA compliance
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field
- Minimum four years relevant experience in a HR Operations team
- Minimum one year supervisory experience
- Process improvement certification or experience
- Advanced knowledge of relevant HR systems, applications, or tools
- Advanced MS Office knowledge
- Experience managing a high-performing operational team
- Proven track record of exceptional customer experience
- Strong problem-solving mindset
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships quickly
- Use strong judgment, knowledge, and experience to make sound decisions
- Ability to work independently and efficiently and demonstrate initiative and resourcefulness as a self-starter
- Extensive knowledge of Human Resources operations and policies and a strong understanding of local statutory regulations as they pertain to HR in the EMEA region
- Strong management reporting, tracking, and presentation
- Written and verbal skills to make data driven decisions
- Demonstrate the ability to identify patterns/gaps in behavior and processes and propose/identify solutions proactively
