- Owning the order scale as delegated by the LCL & FCL Order Management team lead.
- Monitor new order inflow and the assignment of a transport plan by the operations team.
- Update revenue for the ordered services at time of booking, and manage any accessorial costs – with customer approval (subject to agreed SOP) – prior to billing in accordance with the terms of the order.
- Accrue cost for any overseas delivered services in the Maersk network, and ensure the ICB billing is timele closed and cleared.
- Accrue vendor cost and work closely with our Finance teams to review incoming vendor invoices and dispute billing not in accordance to agreed contracts or cost incurred from errors or deviations in handling not caused by Maersk or the customer.
- Close system files on-time after careful review of the revenue estimate and billed, and proper accrual of cost.
- Work with the operation team on ensuring proper communication and visibility to transport plans, and changes to same as a result of changes to cargo readiness or transport plan changes.
- Monitor transport from pick-up to delivery (to/from the Port and via CFS), and provide timely system updates while ensuring the visibility is timely shared with customers via offline updates or system connectivity.
- Remain on top of all activities during the week by organizing work to always been on top of the order management
- Participate in relevant training offered and apply knowledge of automation and digitization in the customer booking and shipment tracking process, and internal file management, to increase control and productivity.
