• preparation and posting of journal entries for IFRS-specific accounting areas (e.g. intercompany, treasury, fixed assets, pension accounting, inventory)
• reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
• analysis of financial statement figures and variances
• responding in an effective and timely manner to all Business Partners' inquiries concerning your area of responsibilities
• driving standardization and improvements of accounting processes; using Business excellence as the tool to reach future goals
• participation in internal and external audits

• very good English, other European language f.e. German, French, Italian, Portuguese, Swedish or Spanish - nice to have
• university graduate with at least 2 years of work experience in accounting/finance area
• broad knowledge and understanding of accounting principles (especially IFRS)
• computer literacy and experience with MS Office applications (with particular focus on Excel). Practical knowledge of SAP would be an asset
• results and action-oriented individual with good interpersonal and communication skills
• pragmatic & logical thinker with an eye for detail and an analytical mind
• flexible, especially in the period of month/year-end closing
• strong organizational and time management skills
