- Assist in the building and commissioning of the project.
- Carrying out the tasks required to deliver the project to the agreed specification.
- Reporting progress and issues to internal stakeholders.
- Debugging and resolving issues.
- Gathering data and reporting back to the development department for resolution.
- Knowledge and experience in Broadcast Automation area.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with SQL databases, including MariaDB and Aurora.
- Knowledge of cloud and virtualization technologies.
- Strong troubleshooting skills, problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in reporting..
- Understanding of Networking fundamentals, particularly TCP/IP
- Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed, typically up to 10% per year.
- Degree in IT, Computer science, Electronics and Broadcast Technology or similar degrees
- Technical interview with Hiring Manager and Principal Project Engineer (60 min)

This role will see the successful applicant working with a team to deliver enterprise level solutions to the world’s leading Broadcast and Media institutions.
There will be a variety of things to learn as part of a successful deployment of a large scale system. You will be using skills ranging from Python, JavaScript, XML, shell, Ubuntu platforms, SQL, to Playout and IP hardware, and being involved from the start of a workflow of ingesting content to seeing it successful get scheduled for playout on air.
