Responsibilities:Position Purpose: We are seeking a hands-on and technically proficient Technical Lead to guide the development of FXTrader, a mission-critical platform enabling trading, pricing, and more for our traders. This is a tech-focused leadership role for someone who thrives in a high-impact environment and enjoys building high-quality software alongside a team of skilled developers.The ideal candidate is a strong individual contributor who can also take the lead on design, refinement, and delivery — driving technical decisions, elevating engineering quality, and ensuring that the team operates effectively and efficiently.This role is a stepping stone into broader leadership responsibilities over time, with the potential to expand into people management in the future.Primary duties will include:

Act as the principal engineer and go-to expert for the development team. Guide design decisions, set code quality standards, and lead by example.
Spearhead software design discussions and produce scalable, robust, and maintainable solutions.
Own the refinement process — break down complex work into clear, actionable development tasks. Help the team deliver efficiently and predictably.
Serve as a technical mentor for developers and quality engineers, promoting best practices and continuous improvement.
Contribute production-ready code and maintain high standards in testing, CI/CD, documentation, and performance.
Keep product, engineering leadership, and stakeholders informed about progress, risks, and technical decisions.
Stay ahead of new technologies and tools that could enhance the team’s productivity and platform performance.

Qualifications:To land this role you will need:

Proven experience as a senior or lead fullstack engineer, ideally in financial services or similarly complex domains.
Strong proficiency in C#/.NET for backend development, including experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs.
Hands-on experience with React and modern frontend development practices (TypeScript, component-driven design, etc.).
Deep understanding of system architecture, scalable design patterns, and application performance optimization across the stack.
Ability to lead refinement sessions and break down work into technically sound, manageable units.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps principles.
Clear communicator with the ability to explain technical decisions to both engineering and non-technical stakeholders.
Comfortable working in Agile environments with cross-functional teams.

Education / Certification Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering (Computer Systems, Software, IT&T, Systems) or relevant experience.

Working environment:

FTE (UoP).
Hybrid at ul. Mogilska 35 – we have private parking for employees.
