What will you do?We are looking for an Automation Test Engineer to join a long-term project for a fintech company. You will be responsible for creation of test cases and scenarios, test planning, testing of systems developed by the company, test automation and reporting of test results. In addition, responsibilities will include working closely with programmers and analysts as well as programming/writing automated test scripts and improving testing tools.Candidates must be based in Krakow or Wrocław or Poznan or Lodz and need to be available to work 2 days from the office, to foster team collaboration.Your skills

Knowledge of various testing techniques and the ability to use them in practice (at least 2-3 years of commercial experience)
Including min. 2 years of experience in test automation and/or performance testing tools on both frontend and backend layers (e.g., using Postman or similar tools for backend/API testing)
Basic programming experience in one or more of the following languages: Java, Python, JS/TS
Experience in testing web and/or mobile applications
Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle processes and the QA lifecycle and methodology
Experience in every-day use of version control system (GIT)
Basic knowledge of SQL
Desire to build and evolve automation and development skills
Experience in creating test documentation and test reports
Experience with JIRA and other defect tracking tools
Understanding of CI/CD processes
Strong analytical and interpersonal skills, objectivity, strong problem-solving skills
Fluent English in speech and writing (frequent communication with English-speaking clients)
Good command of Polish (day-to-day communication within the team)

Nice to have

Practical experience with TDD/BDD
