The LUCA program is, in addition, a critical enabler of METRO's strategy to achieve standardization, harmonization, and centralization.Within the LUCA program, the SAP Data Migration Specialist will be responsible for defining the data migration plan for each solution, working with legacy system and new system to co-ordinate design and create the mechanism to extract, cleanse, transform, enrich, load and validate all required data for the successful implementation.Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for contributing to the Data Migration plan and approach by closely collaborating with the implementation partner
  • Monitor and review the timely completion of Design Documents and Value mapping by collaborating with Process streams
  • Review the technical solution and approach for improving re-usability and optimization
  • Initial technical validation of the Migration Load reports
  • End-to-End alignment with Partner systems on the process, tasks and timelines for Master data execution
  • Efficient management on the Defect process
  • Drive daily Mock meetings across stakeholders and weekly meetings with Business Data owners on the Mock progress
  • Responsible for ensuring compliance with quality audits and requirements
QualificationsQualification and Experience
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's or master's degree in business informatics, Computer Science, or a related field, combined with solid knowledge in SAP Data Migration practices
  • Professional SAP Expertise: Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP Data Migration, preferably sufficient knowledge on SAP BODS, Migration Cockpit (File Staging & Direct Transfer approaches)
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with various levels of the organization and external partners
  • Object Knowledge: Experience in Finance, Controlling & Procurement data objects would be preferrable.
  • Languages: Excellent command of English (written and spoken)
  • Travel: Ability to travel is required (around 20-25% of working time)
