And if that’s you we would love to have you join us!Job DescriptionThe Finance Business Intelligence Team, part of the Finance Digital Transformation - Power House organization at Rockwell Automation has a position available for a BI Developer with interest in applying Business Intelligence and Data Analytics solutions to complex real-world problems within all of Rockwell's global segments and operational areas. Our people are energized problem solvers that take pride in how the work we do changes the world for the better.As the BI Developer for the Financial Business Intelligence you will deliver financial and management reporting for the Finance organization and its partners. This includes understanding information sharing requirements, data sets available, and transforming those requirements into applicable reports using organization preferred technology. You will be the main liaison between business, IT and finance partners in helping Rockwell to migrate to centralized reporting using Microsoft Azure and PowerBI technology platforms. You will be a crucial member of the Finance Business Intelligence Team ensuring that high-quality, well-structured data is available for analysis and reporting, supporting informed decision-making across the organization.You will report directly to Finance BI Solutions Manager and work in hybrid model with office in Katowice.Main Technologies we use:

MS Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate) - advanced
Azure SQL Data Warehouse
Azure Databricks - basic
Python - basic

Your Responsibilities:

Understand and document Finance organization business intelligence requirements, and deliver reports, dashboards, scorecards, and ad-hoc analysis that meet user needs and support our strategy.
Rationalize existing Finance provided management reports, and reduce duplication across businesses and geographies wherever possible.
Designs, develops, and tests Power BI reports, dashboards, scorecards to ensure appropriate use of data sets.
Conduct user acceptance testing for new report development and enhancements.
Understand data definitions and required system security to ensure data is shared in compliance with Rockwell's Safeguarding Sensitive Information policy.
Collaborate with Information Technology and Data Analytics & Insights teams to create data sets that meet users reporting needs and to resolve system issues.
Provide change management and training to finance organization as information sharing processes and technologies change, as existing SAP BI reports are migrated over to Microsoft Azure and PowerBI.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Data Science, Business Analytics, Mathematics or Accounting, Finance or related technical discipline.
2 to 3 years of experience in business intelligence role or in finance/accounting with an FP&A emphasis.
min 2 year experience in Microsoft PowerBI dashboard creation (data analysis and visualization, proficiency with DAX language)
At least 1 year SQL Server experience
Experience with Business Intelligence and Data processing.
Experience working in data warehousing, Big Data, ETL, distributed systems of data extraction, processing of large datasets or related.
Very good English– verbal and writing skills.
