You’ll work alongside dedicated and collaborative teammates.
You'll ensure the highest standards of quality across manufacturing processes, making a significant impact on product compliance and customer satisfaction. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (e.g., industrial cross-functional teams, NCR teams, and manufacturing teams), lead process improvements such as DpU/External Demerit analysis, and contribute to initiatives like Process FMEA and Quality Control Plan updates, and much more.We’ll look to you for:Supporting the decision for all Hand Overs (GO/NOGO) and keeping NO GO veto rights when necessaryStopping production when mandatory reasons arise, such as safety-related reworkParticipating in Criticality Matrix analysis and contributing to Process FMEA (Failure Mode & Effect Analysis)Leading FAR and participating in FMR/SMRImplementing and regularly updating Quality Control Plans during pre- and serial manufacturing activitiesManaging Internal NCR by supporting the NCR team to complete characterization until closure using Problem Solving methodologies (e.g., QRQC)Participating in customer inspectionsQualifying manufacturing teams regarding Self-InspectionManaging Workstation Dynamic Checklists (Self-Inspection & Workstation Inspection)Performing Workstation Audits and follow-upsAll about youWe value passion and attitude over experience. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related fieldExperience or understanding of quality processes in manufacturing environments, including NCR (Non-Conformance Report) management and problem-solving methodologies like QRQCKnowledge of Process FMEA (Failure Mode & Effect Analysis) and Criticality Matrix analysisFamiliarity with quality control plans, inspections, and audits in Pre & Serial manufacturing activitiesStrong communication skills, including the ability to lead cross-functional discussions and customer interactionsAbility to analyze and interpret data from DpU (Defects per Unit) and External Demerit reports to drive quality improvementsLeadership skills to manage and qualify manufacturing teams for Self-Inspection processesResilience and adaptability to handle dynamic manufacturing environments and make critical decisions, such as stopping production when necessaryAttention to detail to ensure compliance with product history records and quality standards before shippingContinuous learning mindset to stay updated on quality methodologies and toolsThings you’ll enjoyJoin us on a life-long transformative journey – the rail industry is here to stay, so you can grow and develop new skills and experiences throughout your career.
