Working full-time from our Legnica Plant, you will be part of our innovation group specialized in Belts.

You'll be working on projects linked to product development, product optimization or introduction of new products into production.
You will closely collaborate with other departments locally as well as in the region.
You'll have the opportunity to develop your skillset in relation to specific products

Key responsibilities (to name a few):

Acting as a team member or project leader on VAVE, CI, NPD projects.
Planning and executing technological trials
Supervising the production of prototypes and producing product development documentations according to PPAP standards.
Researching and developing new testing methods and equipment
Researching, developing, and documenting data and knowledge related to Gates' products, materials and technologies.
Providing technical support to customers, suppliers and other Gates departments in their product related projects.
Technical reporting and generation of intellectual property.

ABOUT YOU

University degree in mechanical, chemical or materials engineering or equivalent,
Up to 2 years of working experience in a similar role
Excellent project management and planning skills
Outstanding problem-solving abilities with strong curiosity
Knowledge and usage of quality tools: FMEA, MSA, SPC, 8D, PPAP,
Strong mathematics skills including calculus and statistics,
Basic knowledge of ISO:9001 and IATF norms,
Basic knowledge and usage of CAD tools,
Materials engineering knowledge with focus on rubber, technical textiles, cords and rubber composites would be additional benefit,
Fluency in English and conversational in Polish
