Senior IT Business Analyst - SAP Finance - Record to Report (R2R)

• IT Business Systems Analysis work involves acting as a liaison between the business/end users and IT systems development teams for business needs requiring IT based solutions including:

• Identifying and analyzing business needs, conducting requirements gathering, and defining scope and objectives
• Making recommendations for solutions or improvements to business processes that can be accomplished through new technology or alternative uses of existing technology Researching business requirements and documenting the relationships between the components of the application system (i.e., end users, business processes, data, applications, and devices)
• Translating business requirements into application requirements
• Develop system designs that adhere to high level conceptual design and are traceable to functional as well as non-functional requirements in projects/enhancements
• Deliver design solutions in line with system design standards which are global and scalable following a global template philosophy (Core/Template)
• Ensure that project/enhancements work is delivered to agreed time, cost and quality constraints following the release calendar.
• Ensure that developed solutions are peer reviewed, formally documented and signed off by business
• Initiate solution testing to ensure these meet quality standards

• Educational qualification - CA or CPA or Master’s degree in commerce/accounting.
• At least 6 to 8 years of experience in SAP Finance/controlling module implementation/roll-out projects in an international environment.
• Proven experience in Detailed process analysis and design, system architecture and technology standards.
• Business process understanding and driving business stakeholders alignment
• Proven experience and expert knowledge in following process areas:

• Integration with other modules i.e. SD/MM/PP/PM.
• GL accounting (FI-GL). Candidate should have strong business understanding of different fields at master data and transactional data level and should be able to assess the impact/propose solution in the new business scenarios.
• Inter-company accounting including drop shipment process.
• Asset accounting and related processes.
• Month end processes like Accrual postings, revenue recognition
• Good knowledge of profitability analysis (CO-PA)
• Knowledge of Month end solutions like Blackline, Smart close, Inter-company reconciliation(ICR) would be a great advantage.
