We design, build, and run the internal data platforms that keep the company moving. Our systems power the metrics, experiments, and tools that every OLX team uses to make decisions.Here are some of the practical projects we drive:Tracking ecosystem: we handle the flow of tracking data from millions of users across many countries. This data is the backbone of the company's main metrics and helps everyone make informed decisions.Change Data Capture service: we built our own CDC system to capture and replicate database changes in near real-time. It keeps data fresh and consistent wherever it's needed.Experimentation platform: we run the in-house A/B testing and feature flag system. It supports 40+ experiments every month, helping teams test ideas and improve the product.Console: we maintain the internal self-service platform that brings together UI and backend tools in one place, so employees can easily access and manage data products and internal systems.We're an experienced team that takes ownership from design to release. We keep quality high but stay pragmatic: we help each other out, share knowledge openly, and raise issues early to keep things moving. A product-minded engineer who thinks from a user perspective, understanding both the how and why behind technical solutions.
Engineer with deep knowledge of programming languages (we use mostly Python), frameworks (Flask, FastAPI), and best practices, with strong mastery of data structures, algorithms, and software architecture to build and scale cloud-based systems.
A problem solver who can break down complex challenges into manageable solutions using both analytical thinking and creativity.
An effective communicator who can explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders while documenting technical specifications and processes clearly.
A developer who believes in "you build it, you run it, you own it," ensuring high-quality code, debugging, optimization, and automation as key priorities.

What you will be doing:

Contributing to complex technical projects, ensuring robust, secure, and scalable software solutions.
Mentoring and guiding junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. This includes delegating tasks, providing feedback, and facilitating team communication.
Driving innovation by encouraging new ideas, shaping software development, and collaborating closely with product management to create user-centric solutions.
Creating impact outside of your team by helping drive the Engineering strategy and contributing to cross-team collaboration through inter-team working groups or community guilds, among others.
