Join us if making your mark in the financial services industry from day one is a challenge you are up for.Your new roleAs a GlobalLink Project Manager you will be responsible for supporting the GlobalLink FX business with all aspects of change management, driving the execution and delivery of front office projects including strategic, regulatory, geopolitical and business transformation change. ​This function will report to Global Head of Risk, Reg Operations and Change - GlobalLink.Your new role will be part of an established project management team supporting the Global Markets and GlobalLink businesses. You will interact with SSBTCo, SSBI GmbH (and associated branches), SSGLAP, SSGMIL, FX Connect LLC and Currenex Inc.As a GlobalLink Project Manager, Assistant Vice President you will:Manage project for the delivery of a number of key change initiatives across the GlobalLink business, with front to back ownership of the full project lifecycleAssist with growth initiatives across GLFX helping drive revenue growth and cost efficiency programmesDevelop and manage relationships with project sponsors and partners across the business and infrastructure, working closely with all stakeholders to ensure a sustainable and cohesive project deliveryEstablish and monitor an effective oversight framework to ensure that issues and risks to the project are appropriately identified, escalated and resolvedBuild technical and operational business knowledge to support business understanding and impact of change management processes to BAUDefine robust communication strategy and provide transparency around delivery progress to all key stakeholdersUtilise key project management tools and techniques and maintain document artefacts to a high standard in order to meet the demands of the projectPrepare and lead key project meetings, including steering committees and working groupsActively participate in the development and maintenance of the EMEA CMO team as a front office change centre of excellenceWhat we valueDesired professional experience and qualificationsUniversity degreeFormal project management certification (eg: LEAN, PMI or Prince II)Experience delivering and supporting change programmes in the Financial Services/Banking industryKnowledge of capital markets, including product trade lifecyclePreference for candidates with IT project experience and/or exposure to FX productsExperience with project management protocols, end to end project lifecycle and an understanding of good governance standardsExperience with continuous improvement processes with an ability to identify more efficient and effective ways of working and reportingRequired competencies and skillsStrong written and verbal communication skills in EnglishVery strong attention to detail and accuracySuccessful track record in problem-solvingProficiency in Microsoft Office applicationsAbility to multi-task and work independently to meet deadlinesAbility to anticipate challenges and opportunitiesAbility to influence people without direct reporting linesNegotiating skills/stakeholder managementSelf-starting with the ability to operate without or take steps to define clear guidance on required outcomesWhat we offerPermanent contract of employment from day oneAdditional holidays (Birthday Day Off, 3rd and 5th year anniversary Day OffsGold medical package for employees and their families (partner and children)Premium life insurance package and private pension planEmployee savings planBenefits platform including Multisport CardWide range of soft skills training, technical workshops, language classes and development programsOpportunities to volunteer your time to company-driven initiatives, employee networks or organizations of your choiceVariety of well-being programsTechnical or leadership career pathwayAbout State Street:What we do.
