- Be the Strategic Finance Partner: Manage OPEX, CAPEX, and projects for Audit & Assurance (A&A), Communications & Government Affairs (CGA), and Corporate Functions, driving operational efficiency and financial excellence
- Deliver Insights That Matter: Highlight trends, analyze unexpected variances, and deliver insightful commentary on key business drivers. Your expertise will shape actionable strategies to achieve business goals
- ·Own Month-End Excellence: Oversee the financial closing process, ensuring impeccable accuracy and clarity in presenting the function’s financial standing to senior stakeholders
- Lead with Impact: Guide a Junior Finance Partner, support the Finance Director, and proactively identify opportunities to drive business objectives and mitigate risks
- Empower Decision-Makers: Provide strategic financial advice to senior leaders, including SVPs/VPs in CGA, A&A, and Corporate Functions, to unlock their departments’ full potential
- Champion Planning Cycles: Lead efforts to consolidate actuals, budgets, and forecasts globally, crafting insightful commentary and actionable plans to achieve savings and uncover risks and opportunities
- Cultivate Cost Consciousness: Foster engagement and skills development among budget holders, empowering smarter resource allocation and strategic investment decisions
- Drive the Digital Agenda: Propel innovation by supporting GSK’s digital transformation for smarter, faster financial processes
- University degree in Financials, Accounting, IT, Economy, or a related discipline
- Professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, MBA, or equivalent
- Significant experience in financial controlling, reporting, or auditing roles with expertise in management reporting and financial planning
- Exceptional strategic thinking and relationship-building skills, enabling you to influence and collaborate with senior non-finance stakeholders
- Proven ability to lead diverse teams, navigate global organizations, and work effectively across matrix environments
- Expertise in finance business partnering with senior-level stakeholders
- Outstanding judgment and reliability, especially in high-pressure situations
- Exceptional negotiation, problem-solving, and influencing skills
- Cultural sensitivity and adaptability in a global setting
- Fluent spoken and written English
- Openness to occasional travel, if required
