- Design, develop and maintain scalable, well-structured data models using tools such as dbt and SQL within our cloud data platforms.
- Develop and own the semantic/analytical layer, defining consistent metrics, dimensions and business logic to ensure a single source of truth across reports and dashboards.
- Build and manage data pipelines to ensure timely and accurate data availability.
- Work closely with analysts, data scientists and stakeholders to deliver clean, well-documented datasets tailored to business needs.
- Promote best practices in data modelling, transformation, and governance.
- Monitor pipeline performance and resolve data quality or processing issues.
- Support the development and optimisation of the company's data infrastructure and workflows.
- Experience in analytics engineering, data engineering or a related role.
- Strong SQL skills and hands-on experience with modern data transformation tools (e.g. dbt).
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (e.g. Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).
- Experience with version control (e.g. Git) and agile development practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (in both Polish and English), with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Experience with data orchestration tools (e.g. Airflow, Prefect).
- Knowledge of Python and software engineering principles.
- Familiarity with data visualisation tools (e.g. Looker, Tableau, Power BI).
- Background in analytics, statistics, or a relevant STEM discipline.
