- Develop and optimize algorithms for optical payload data processing.
- Collaborate with the team on calibration, validation, and quality assessment of optical imagery.
- Provide technical leadership in SAR mission requirements and processing workflows.
- Manage and coordinate SAR subcontractors, ensuring delivery of high-quality solutions.
- Act as the SAR point of contact within the team, bridging optical and radar mission needs.
- Support system engineering activities across payload and ground segment design.
- University degree in computer science, remote sensing, space engineering, or related fields.
- Proven experience in SAR data processing (algorithms, calibration, interferometry, or related).
- Understanding of optical image processing principles, or strong motivation to expand into this area.
- Proficiency in programming (Python or similar).
- Familiarity with EO data formats and standards (GeoTIFF, SAFE, HDF5).
- Familiarity with CI/CD process and good programming practices.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
- Experience managing subcontractors or external partners in technical projects.
- Background in ESA, EC, or other international space projects.
- Familiarity with EO processing toolkits (GDAL, Rasterio, OpenCV, QGIS).
