
Senior Quality Expert – Air-to-Water Heat Pump (R290)

- Lead hands-on investigation of returned outdoor (R290) and indoor units from market installations.
- Identify root causes of failures using structured diagnostic methods (5-Why, Ishikawa, FMEA, fault tree).
- Define and validate corrective and preventive actions, including repair methods, design improvements, and supplier collaboration.
- Establish and standardise processes, tools, and documentation for quality investigations.
- Build capability in the Quality Team by transferring expertise and coaching engineers and technicians.
- Collaborate with Design, Production, Service, and Supply Chain teams to ensure findings translate into lasting improvements.
- Report findings, risks, and required actions clearly to senior management.
- Travel to Aira markets to: support critical installations and complex service cases, deliver training sessions and certify installers, share knowledge and raise competence across the service organisation.
- 10+ years’ proven experience in air-to-water heat pump development, service, or quality, with strong focus on outdoor units.
- Deep expertise in R290 refrigerant systems – thermodynamics, safety standards, charging, leak detection, and environmental compliance.
- Demonstrated success in product quality investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action management.
- Hands-on technical ability to dismantle, fault trace, and validate fixes.
- Solid knowledge of international HVAC standards and regulations.
- Experience in cross-functional collaboration in fast-paced industrial environments.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken). Proficiency in Polish is mandatory. German and Italian are prioritised; other European languages are an advantage.
