„Practice in Lodz - summer internships is a project organized as part of the “Youth in Lodz” program, whose aim is to enable students and graduates of Lodz universities to gain professional experience. The project can be attended by people up to 30 y.o. who are students or graduates (up to one year after graduation) of Lodz public or non-public universities. We look for students after second year of technical, mathematical, business, finance, economic or related studies.📢 Join our team as a Fullstack Developer Intern! 📢During internship you will work as a Fullstack developer who is developing and maintaining our applications (depending on bank standards and business requirements) what would cover defect analysis, testing, bug fixing and problem-solving.You will also have a possibility to develop in a new technology stack, which consist of backend written in Java 11 with Spring and frontend using React.js. You will have a chance to learn OAuth2 based authorization system and setting up the communication using REST services. Our new application is hosted on Cloud environments (Azure/GCP, OpenShift container platform). Since we are still in the middle of moving of our old application to the new technologies, we are counting on your readiness for preparing new solutions.What you will be doing? 👇

Supporting the team in a daily tasks and activities.
Software development, defect analysis, bug fixing and problem solving.
Participating in software configuration and development.
Creating and performing tests.
Creation of technical documentation.

Which technology & skills are important for us? 👇

Basic knowledge of JS based frontend: React.js with Redux Toolkit
Basic knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS
Basic knowledge of Java 8+, object-oriented analysis and design, Spring Framework
Source code tool, (e.g.: GIT)
Development of Web Services REST/SOAP/XML/WSD
English B2 level - it is our business language

Nice to have:

Willingness to learn TypeScript, SQL, Bash, Testing frameworks (JUnit/Mockito)
