- Support the development and configuration of a variety of areas of the ServiceNow platform. Primarily in Sourcing and Procurement Operations (SPO), and its Integrations with a broad variety of Enterprise applications.
- Responsible for researching, planning, and delivering solutions as defined in the ServiceNow roadmap.
- Perform all necessary discovery and fact finding to fully understand more complex business problems and opportunities and independently execute all assignments.
- Establishes and manages system integrations and automations in ServiceNow.
- Using SCRUM / Agile methodologies design and develop / configure forms, workflows, Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, Client Scripts and ACLs including advanced scripting.
- Create and configure Notifications, UI pages, UI Macros, Script Includes, Formatters, etc. in ServiceNow
- Researches and applies available ServiceNow hotfixes, patches and upgrades while ensuring configurations and customizations function as expected.
- Offer technical solutions to address complex requirements. Evaluate alternate solutions, identify the best option, and implement the solution.
- Create technical architecture, design, and user guide documentation.
- Responsible helping to grow and provide guidance to more junior developers.
- 10 years of IT experience with 3-5 years of experience as a key technical resource executing on design and development on the ServiceNow Platform.
- In-depth understanding of and experience working with Enterprise Service Management processes
- In-depth knowledge of UI design and strong UI programming skills along with Service Portal configuration and Reporting and Analytic
- Hands-on experience in implementing, configuring, and customizing Web Technologies (XML, HTML, JAVA Script, AJAX, CSS, HTTP, etc.)
- Proficient in integration of disparate systems using SOAP and REST APIs along with scripted `Webservices.
- Strong knowledge on Single Sign On, LDAP, Mid Server and automations using Integration Hub
- Excellent written and oral communication skills - high standard of accuracy
- Ability to multi-task across project/initiatives and deliver according to time commitments.
a. ServiceNow Admin Certification / ServiceNow Implementation Certification preferred.
b. ITIL v3/V4 Foundations Certification
c. TEOA (LEAN, SixSigma) processes and toolsEducational Required/Desired:
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science or related discipline.
- Proficient written and verbal communications skills in English (CEFR C1). Additional language(s) are welcome.
