
Senior Software Architect with Java

- Make key architectural decisions in dedicated projects within the customer segment
- Analyse, implement, and present professional, technical, and system architecture in projects
- Provide expert advice in software and system architecture, and support the account team in preparing proposals for Java and web portal system development projects
- Conduct and present architectural assessments, from analysis and conception to implementation and evaluation
- Guide clients on the strategic direction of software development processes, focusing on process management, methodology, rules, and tools
- Coordinate the preparation of offers for development projects
- Perform feasibility studies in complex, heterogeneous project environments at the client's site
- Handle technical processing of specialist tasks in tenders and present your findings to customers at management levels
- Keep abreast of market trends and adapt current innovations for clients
- Coach Developing Consultants and Senior Developing Consultants in your projects
- At least 7 years of professional experience, with a minimum of 4 years in architectural consulting
- Vocational training in computer science or a university degree in mathematics, computer science, business informatics, natural sciences, or a comparable field
- Knowledge of various architecture standards (especially TOGAF and Archimate) and specialization in EAM, ideally proven by certificates (e.g., TOGAF 9.1)
- Familiarity with requirements specifications and experience with modelling, ideally proven by a CPRE Foundation Level and an OCUP Foundation Level or equivalent
- Experience with architecture tools such as Sparx Enterprise Architect or MID Innovator for Architects, and project support tools like MS Project and JIRA
- Experience in process automation and at least 7 years of advising customers on JEE or web portals
- Ability to independently analyse complex tasks and solve them within a team under your professional leadership
- Strong team culture and enjoyment of working with dynamic and motivated people
- Willingness to visit at the customer's site if needed
- When required, willingness to participate in a security clearance in accordance with the Security Clearance Act (SÜG)
- Very good spoken and written skills in German (European Framework of Reference for Languages at least level C1) and fluent English skills are required
