Job Description:Senior RTR AnalystAon Finance Centre is looking for Senior RTR Analyst. Person in this position will be responsible for month-end closing activities, system tie-outs, control over monthly journal entries and account reconciliation, making sure the general ledger is kept in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. Additionally this role will require building strong relationships with Senior Managers with various Controllership teams and supporting other team members. Responsibility over accounting, tax and statistical reporting in assigned entities;
US GAAP accounting (monthly, quarterly and annual group reporting);
Participate in monthly balance sheet and P&L analysis;
Perform month-end closing activities;
Support migration of accounting processes from other countries;
Perform annual SOX testing; maintain and improve SOX documentation and workbooks;
Work on optimizing accounting operations, processes and internal controls;
Ensuring that transactions are carried out according to corporate policies and statutory regulations;
Testing new systems, policies and tools;
Build strong relationships with stakeholders;
Oversee and support external providers who perform basic RtR activities for Aon;
Be a point of contact for junior team members;
Support team manager if needed;
Investigating differences (reconciling items) on Balance Sheet accounts.

How this opportunity is different

With this role you will have the possibility to perform complex RtR activities on your own and oversee external teams with basic tasks.
Senior RTR Analyst will work very closely with Senior Managers from various Controllership teams and support all Aon solution lines.

Skills and experience that will lead to successWe are looking for an experienced accountant who is not afraid of taking on new tasks, result-driven individual who wants to learn and progress further. As this is an independent role perfect candidate should have a good understanding of accounting rules and processes. An asset will be also systems analytical mindset to be able to grasp and consider complex processes and systems, how they interact, and how to manage issues and data around flows and touchpoints.

Minimum 4 years of experience in General Ledger is a must;
Excellent English (C1) is a must;
Strong knowledge of MS Office (advanced MS Excel);
Self-managing; can work independently with minimal supervision and consistently produces high quality work product;
Takes ownership, willing to be accountable and able to drive work to full completion in a timely manner;
Master’s degree in accounting, finance or controlling;
Desire and ability to build subject matter expertise across various areas;
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
Strong critical thinking skills;
Highly motivated to take initiative;
Focus on continuous improvement, increasing productivity and building efficiencies;
US GAAP and IFRS experience is a plus;
Experience in a multinational shared services environment is a plus
