Financial Controller / Senior Financial Controller

• Own and control financial statements, mainly the balance sheet of companies, ensuring timely/accurate reconciliation, month end closing and month end reporting, driving continuous improvement of financial processes.
• Ensure business and systems changes are adequate imbedded in the Financial Controlling Organization with appropriate financial processes.
• Manage multiple internal and external senior stakeholders, and be able to operate in a fast-paced environment, leading SAP normalization whilst navigating ambiguous financial data as well as delivering monthly reporting accuracy.
• Responsible for the preparation and submission of group consolidation accounts and statutory financial statements, managing quarterly and annually audits.
• Take ownership for the group pension accounting, including tax, treasury operational activities, and accruals. Ensuring the balance sheet reconciliations are appropriate and on a timely manner to meet month end closing schedule.
• Take active role in budgeting and forecasting process, is able to comment the deviations and take appropriate actions to define root cause.
• Ensure intercompany balances are fully reconciled on a monthly basis, including SOWs (statement of work).
• Ensure effective financial accounting processes for Fixed Assets, Inventory, Deferred Revenue, FRSC/Service Contracts, Operational and Financial leases, and impairment financial models.
• Perform ad-hoc requests or other duties assigned by management.

• Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role.
• Financial reporting standards UK GAAP and IFRS.
• ACA/ACCA/CIMA and post qualified experience as advantage.
• Ability to priorities, meeting multiple objectives in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication with fluent English, stakeholder management, and problem solving skills.
• Experience with SAP (FI/CO), HFM (nice to have).
• Master degree in finance/controlling/accounting.
• Highly experienced at delivering accurate month end closing/reporting and meeting tight deadlines.
• Strong coordination and organizational skills.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid mode (40% from the office, 60% from home in a week)
