Run Machine Learning forecastResponsibilitiesEnsure statistical / sensed forecasts are created for the whole of their portfolio considering demand drivers at the agreed hierarchy levelResearch demand drivers, prepare forecast data, and evaluate forecast performanceMonitor and report on specific KPIs (e.g., forecast accuracy, forecast BIAS, MAPE, forecast value add) at multiple levels and lags and provide insights on contributing factors and improvement opportunitiesSelect the best statistical model for forecast items that cannot be modelled by the system considering seasonality, responsiveness, trend and stabilityContribute to Promotion Planning based on data insightsRun Machine Learning forecast and disaggregation to building blocksRun automatic cleansing. Make sure final output (cleansed data) completed in the systemGenerate historical demand performance report and ensure all the needed actions to be considered for forecastingFor new product introductions, analyze proposal of like-SKU and collaborate with Demand Planners to generate the initial forecasts, additionally consider cannibalization impactsOptimize and tune statistical forecasts, updating system parameters after conducting the necessary analysis to identify improvement opportunitiesTrack and monitor changes to allow for continuous improvementQualifications we seek in you!Minimum Qualifications / SkillsBachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain management, applied math or other relevant degreeStrong understand of at least advanced planning systems and its functionality,Knowledge of ERP functionality, experience with SAP / Oracle / JDE an asset.Demonstrated experience in Forecasting (Statistical Techniques, Collaboration Scenario Modeling, Parameters modeling)Strong analytical skillsExceptional drive, excellent interpersonal skills and effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing, with the ability to immediately contribute in a collaborative team environmentAn ability to manage multiple priorities and perform well in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a high level of client focusStrong work ethic and high attention to detail, with a desire to learnPreferred Qualifications/ SkillsAn ability to manage multiple priorities and perform well in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a high level of client focusStrong work ethic and high attention to detail, with a desire to learnWhy join Genpact?
