Think of the asphalt on the Silverstone Grand Prix Circuit, the Paris Metro Rail project, but also the Louis Vuitton Museum in Paris, parts of the Burj Khalifa, and the Kennedy Space Centre.Learn more about us through the following .This hybrid role will be based in mainland Europe with an annual salary of €60k - €70kPurpose of the roleProvide direction, development, and continuous improvement of our SAP logistics functionality across the supply chainProvide strong technical support in conjuction with our Application Management Support (AMS) partner and business needs.Understanding of supply chain processes, warehouse management, and transportation.Support other products areas impacting supply chain such as manufacturing and procurementResponsible for change management to the system and supporting documentation through the product's lifecycleWork as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for supply chain management in line with business strategyKey Tasks & responsibilitiesBAU Support / Incident Management:In conjunction with AMS ensure all your components are compliant with the latest SAP recommendations. Carry out detailed impact analysis of updates and system patchesProvide second level application support between business and AMS provider to drive timely defect resolution and maintain incident SLA complianceEnsure user acceptance testing is appropriate for any fixes and performed to a high standardProduct EvolutionDriving innovation and identifying opportunities to improve process design and/or adoption of new system features to meet business requirementsSupport Local Key Users and provide knowledge transfer for new features or to new sites / businessesChange ManagementHands-on technical lead during formulation and delivery of system changes and enhancementsProvide technical input during the planning and delivery of SAP related projectsPrepare documentation and participate in change management – Change & Design Advisory BoardsLead and manage user acceptance testing of changes, ensuring it is performed to a high standardEnsure all documentation meets process and compliance standardsKey Functional Competencies and relevant experience:
  • Experience in global products manufacturing environments, including made-to-stock, made-to-order, configure-to-order products, and logistics
  • Educated to degree standard or able to demonstrate appropriate significant and relevant experience in Sales and Distribution systems and processes
  • Experience in SAP S4/Hana (3 SAP full lifecycle implementations) MM/EWM/TM
  • Leads with a builder mentality, ideating, recognizing and incorporating the best ideas from throughout the team
  • Process Oriented: brings together the best examples to drive business advantage and create opportunities
  • Finds ways to achieve business objectives more quickly and effectively
  • Fluency in English – written and spoken and good understanding of German language (preferred)
  • Some travel will be required
