
Finance Customs Analyst - Global Tax and Customs

- Perform transactional valuation audits to identify areas for improvement and drive corrections.
- Audit product attributes and assist product managers in providing customs-related information.
- Enhance existing audit processes and/or develop new valuation audits.
- Communicate audit findings and trends including presentations.
- Support regional teams in responding to customs valuation inquiries and data requests.
- Respond to questions from internal teams related to customs valuation.
- Generate reports of global shipment data and perform data analysis to inform decision-making.
- Carry out annual calculations to support Cisco's multiple business flows.
- Develop, implement, and maintain internal customs valuation compliance procedures.
- Research global customs regulations and agreements.
- Develop and conduct internal training on global customs valuation compliance.
- Liaise with IT teams on technical issues and systems enhancements.
- Provide backup case management support for global valuation inquiries and maintain metrics.
- Degree in business, finance, international trade, or related area.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong mathematical, data mining, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Solid collaboration skills and a desire to work as part of a team.
- Ability to identify issues and communicate effectively with internal business partners.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills, fluent in English.
