- Work with Product Owners in Connected Brewery to help them leverage smart data solutions
- Providing guidance on suitable options for designing and creating data pipelines for the analytical solutions to/from data lakes/data warehouses to e.g. microservices or API's.
- Building ELT jobs based on jointly defined requirements
- You will be actively exploring, designing, building and supporting the Connected Brewery Data Platform
- Works closely with both the backend developers as well as the IT data architecture group
- Develop data set processes for data modeling, mining, and production.
- Mine and analyze data to drive optimization and improvements
- Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets.
- Be a strong advocate for a culture of process and data quality across development teams
- Gather requirements and support to build roadmaps and architectures to help the Product Team achieve its goals
- Managing the quality of the solution and technical debt
- Follow an agile development methodology
- A MSc (or PhD) in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or related technical field
- 4+ years of experience with modern data architectures like Hadoop, Greenplum, Spark, CouchDB, Elastic, Glue, Kinesis, S3, Lambda, Athena, EventHub, etc.
- Experienced with data modelling, design patterns, building highly scalable and secure analytical solutions
- Experienced with SQL, scripting languages (Python, Perl, Ruby), UNIX shell scripting, versioning systems (e.g. Git)
- Supporting tooling such as Gitlab (CI/CD), Terraform (Infra) Experience with AWS IoT core components
- Connecting a modern data architecture with TeraData, Oracle, MySQL, SAP HANA, Power BI, QlikView (or similar reporting and BI package).
- Industrial protocols and/or concentrator suites like Kepware Server, GE Historian, etc.
- Strong hands-on and pragmatic problem-solving skills
