As a Senior Web Developer you will be part of a global marketing team responsible for overseeing and optimizing our web presence, ensuring a seamless and engaging online experience for end-users. You will play a crucial role in supporting and enhancing our platforms to drive business growth and customer satisfaction. You will work in close partnership with Global Marketing, teams, and internal stakeholders to deliver web solutions that drive our digital success.Scope of the role:Lead the design, development, testing, and support of critical web projects across Aptiv and global web domains, delivering high-quality solutions that meet business objectivesArchitect and implement innovative web platform improvements with a focus onSpearhead database architecture and management to support our customer support network including:Foster productive relationships with external agency partners, ensuring timely and accurate platform updatesFacilitate clear communication between technical teams and stakeholders regarding system changes, updates, and outstanding action itemsProvide technical mentorship and guidance to junior team members through structured code reviews, knowledge sharing sessions, and hands-on technical coachingCultivate a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement within the development teamIndependently manage small to medium-scale projects from conception to completion.Professional Development & InnovationMaintain cutting-edge expertise in web technologies, infrastructure trends, UX best practices, security protocols, and compliance requirementsProactively identify and implement emerging technologies that enhance platform capabilities and user experience7+ years in web development with enterprise-level experienceExperience in front-end including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, familiarity of Bootstrap framework; Mastering PHP;Experience with database modeling and development (Comfortable with XML/XSLT, DITA integration)Proven experience with at least one JavaScript framework such as Angular, React, Ember or BackboneHighly organized with strong attention to detailExcellent command of EnglishService-oriented, self-directed, analytical, and customer-focusedSkilled in Git, CI/CD tooling, and DevOps processesFamiliarity with web content management systems, Sitefinity, Drupal preferred or working knowledge of similar platformsStrong knowledge about website standard methodologies, including information architecture/navigation, responsive web design, content formatting, cross-linking, metadata, and tagging.Why join us?You can grow at Aptiv.
