
System Engineer

- Analyze and manage system-level requirements
- Maintain requirements databases, including importing/exporting data and creating associated metrics
- Develop and maintain scripts and tools to support requirements management
- Create and update technical specifications and documentation
- Provide expert knowledge and support for series production
- Serve as customer interface and collaborate with production facilities, suppliers, and service providers
- Work within interdisciplinary global project teams across purchasing, systems, hardware/software, quality, sales, laboratory, and manufacturing
- Develop product/functional solutions independently within given frameworks
- Evaluate draft solutions considering functional, material, manufacturing, and economic aspects
- Create and monitor schedules in coordination with internal/external interfaces
- Maintain regular customer communication regarding OPL and new technologies
- Create and present technical presentations to customers
- Implement constructive investigations into function, arrangement, and design
- Perform requirements engineering according to V-model methodology
- Analyze and optimize existing products and functions based on customer requirements
- Coordinate measurements, trials, and function tests
- Define materials and manufacturing processes
- Degree in mathematics, computer science, electrical engineering, or comparable professional experience
- Experience with requirements databases such as DOORS or Polarion, including script development
- Proficiency with E-CAD tools, Mentor, Matlab, SPICE V3, and requirements management tools
- Strong knowledge of requirements management processes according to SPICE, CMMI, or Agile methodologies
- Understanding of automotive industry production processes preferred
- Fluency in German and English, both spoken and written
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Willingness to travel globally
- Valid driver's license
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
