- Conducting regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards.
- Coordinating and leading safety training sessions for employees.
- Investigating and reporting on workplace accidents and incidents.
- Developing strategies to reduce incidents of illness, environmental accidents, and other issues that may affect public safety.
- Inspecting and evaluating workplace environments, equipment, and practices for compliance with corporate and government health and safety standards.
- Designing and implementing workplace processes and procedures that help protect workers from potentially hazardous work conditions.
- Maintaining records of safety-related incidents and responses.
- Advising and collaborating with management on safety compliance concerns and preventative strategies.
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Health, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience in EHS management, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of environmental health and safety regulations.
- Excellent leadership and decision-making skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
