Our GL department consists of GL Accountants, Coordinators and Financial Controllers. Currently are looking for results-driven and service-minded Financial Controller to manage and improve the organization's financial performance and direct accounting operations.ResponsibilitiesAs a Financial Controller you will be responsible for the controllership, working with business and financial stakeholders to ensure integrity of the numbers. As well you will be covering following areas:Financial Reporting: Ensure that monthly internal financial reporting is accomplished timely and accurately, in line with relevant accounting standardsFinancials Review: perform monthly review of Financials and commentaries, provide input to management report (consolidate input, prepare power point and monthly controlling checklist, with commentary) and to performance review and support as requestedSupporting Record to Report processAudit support: Assist with Audit queries and support ensuring timely documentation and submission of audit requestsPrepare schedules and gather requested documents necessary to assist external accountants with the audit and tax return preparationBe involved in other accounting/finance projectsFacilitate operational service delivery meetingsQualificationsUniversity degree in Accounting, Finance or related areaMin. 5 years professional experience on similar position or working with financial reporting or controllingExperience in working in international environment (preferably experience from SSC setup)Strong knowledge in working with financial books/financial controlling in Financial Consolidation SystemGood understanding and experience with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)Full professional proficiency of written and oral English requiredAdvanced skills in Excel (Macros, modelling, pivot tables, and lookups) and Power PointCompetencesProactive, and able to work with limited supervision, as well as with the teamAnalytical and problem-solving mindsetAbility to work under pressure, with very tight deadlinesAbility to interpret, analyse and communicate financial information conciselySolid communication skillsOpen-minded, well-structured and organisedWhat we offerTruly awesome team located in Gdansk, PolandCompetitive salaryPrivate health care package (fully financed)Group insuranceBenefits cafeteria with Multisport card co-financedHybrid working modelInternational and non-corporate work environmentAccess to Hempel Academy platform (e-learning platform incl. language courses)Additional information:
