In this role, you'll play a crucial part in managing global freight invoices, ensuring precision in processing transport costs from Siemens' trusted forwarders. Mastering Freight Invoicing: You'll handle the end-to-end freight clearing invoice processing for both incoming and outgoing shipments
Ensuring Data Accuracy: Meticulously review documents, confirming the correctness of accounts payable data, delivery/purchase order numbers, Incoterms, shipping modes, and routes
Tracking & Verification: Utilize various tracking tools to ensure proof of delivery is consistently provided
Cost Control: Verify invoice tariffs against our established rate cards
Stakeholder Engagement: Engage daily with a diverse group of internal colleagues and external partners
Discrepancy Resolution: Manage claims with freight forwarders to resolve any invoice deviations
Risk Management: Proactively identify and address potential risks within payment workflows
Process Improvement: Actively contribute to team initiatives aimed at optimizing our processes

Your defining qualities:

Fluent in both German and English (both B2 level)
While not strictly required, 1-2 years of professional experience in logistics, accounting, or a related field would be a valuable asset
Analytical Mindset: Methodical analytical skills and a solid command of Microsoft Office applications
Tech Savvy: Familiarity with SAP systems is a bonus
Organizational & Communication Prowess: Strong organizational skills and clear, effective communication abilities
Collaborative Spirit: A natural collaborator who thrives working with diverse internal and external stakeholders
