- Lead the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Reporting process for HBEU at GFOC
- Ensure HBEU complies with SEC reporting requirements and file relevant SEC forms
- Complete monthly and quarterly reporting on time and with exceptional quality
- Review key Financial Reporting deliverables and accounting and reporting issues
- Ensure robust analytical reviews and controls are in place
- Own HBEU Reporting issues and drive closure with various teams
- Contribute to sign-off meetings with senior stakeholders
- Conduct topical deep dives on structural and accounting changes
- Maintain an up-to-date SEC disclosure requirement checklist
- Support transformation projects and prepare papers for HBEU Financial Controller
- Interface with regional stakeholders and lead people
- Collaborate with auditors to ensure compliance and accuracy
- Finance Qualification with 10-15 years of work experience in Financial Reporting under SEC/IFRS/GAAPs
- Proven experience in change management and analytical reviews
- Working experience with Wdesk and Saracen (advantageous)
- Strong analytical review, problem-solving, and accounting skills
- Ability to connect dots, deal with ambiguity, and interpret IFRS statutes/policy guidance
- Solid understanding and ability to implement SEC requirements
- Robust risk and control mindset
- Exceptional leadership capabilities and strong business communication (written and oral)
- Proven track record in people leadership, results leadership, and driving change/innovation
