For Linklaters Service Delivery Centre Warsaw, we are currently recruiting for the Revenue Controller with German.About the teamJoin our local team responsible for supporting local offices in billing and credit control activities. Collaborating closely with the Finance Billing Centre of Excellence (CoE), our team covers matter opening, billing process, credit control, process transition, and reporting for a range of client matters.The Revenue Controller at Linklaters is responsible for the comprehensive management of financial processes related to legal service billing and receivables management. This position covers two main functional areas: Billing (preparation and control of invoices) and Credit Control (managing receivables. This position supports our offices in Germany and reports to Revenue Team Leader.As Revenue Controller you will be responsible for:Knowledge transfer and transitionParticipate in knowledge transfer activities to support process migrationEnsure service quality remains high during transitionsMaintain comprehensive and up-to-date process documentationMatter (client) openingReview new matter forms and complete or correct key data (e.g. VAT number, address, billing rates)Administer billing terms and establish billing flows for each new client/matterAssist Matter Managers and Management Assistants in setting up matter structures, including new office segmentsSupport the closure of mattersBilling processProcess transfers of time lines and "Other Services" costs/expenses Produce draft bills, finalize after approval, and upload invoices to client billing portalsEnsure e-billing compliance, such as verifying narratives, billing periods, and required references; address rejections where necessarySupport the collection of accepted billing targets when requiredCredit control processPrepare for and run invoice reminder procedures, including checking block reminders and updating the reminder templateSend reminders via email and manage the Credit Control mailbox, responding to client queriesUpdate and maintain accurate contact information for remindersReportingUtilize the DTR (Desktop Reporting) tool to create narrative and billing status reportsProvide detailed overviews of pending draft bills, including reasons for delay and estimated billing datesQuality control and complianceEnsure all assigned Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are met to customer standardsPerform quality control checks to maintain work consistency and accuracyOrganize and maintain electronic filing systemsEnsure adherence to internal policies, procedures, and Solicitors Accounting RulesCollaboration and process improvementWork closely with the Finance Billing CoE and regularly review processes with clients and stakeholdersParticipate in process improvement initiativesEscalate relevant issues and risks to the Revenue Team Leader and Revenue ManagerApply if you:Have 5 to 8 years of professional experience in Order-to-Cash processes: especially in billing & credit control,Show excellent written & spoken both German & English, with strong communication and networking skills,Have knowledge of SAP system,Bring technical, numeric, and analytical expertise – Excel has no secrets from youPossess a finance and accounting degree,Demonstrate strong competency in data entry, data management, and Microsoft Office tools,Are quality-oriented, organized, and attentive to detail,Are customer-focused and comfortable working under pressureLocation
