AP Team Leader (Pay)Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Accounts Payable specialists responsible for invoice processing, payments, and vendor maintenance
- Ensure accurate and timely execution of AP transactions in line with company policies, service levels, and compliance requirements
- Monitor and manage daily operations of the AP function, ensuring appropriate workload distribution and issue resolution
- Support month-end closing activities by ensuring timely reconciliations, and reporting
- Act as a point of contact for escalations and complex queries from internal stakeholders and vendors
- Collaborate with internal teams including Accounting, and Treasury to ensure smooth end-to-end process flow
- Contribute to process improvements, automation efforts, and implementation of best practices to increase efficiency and accuracy
- Maintain and update process documentation, ensuring consistent knowledge across the team
- Ensure proper internal controls are in place and support audits as required
- Foster a positive, high-performing team culture focused on continuous learning, accountability, and service excellence
- Support employee lifecycle activities such as onboarding, training, performance evaluation, and development planning
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Accounts Payable or a similar finance function, including 1+ year in a team leadership or supervisory role
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Proficiency in English and Polish
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle) and exposure to workflow tools for invoice and payment processing
- Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills; ability to manage and motivate a team
- Experience in a shared service or multinational environment is an asset
