- Develop robust, scalable applications using Java (JDK 17+ and above).
- Design and implement creative, reliable solutions for healthcare IT challenges.
- Work closely with international teammates in an agile environment.
- Contribute across the stack: from database design and backend processes to user interfaces and cloud deployments.
- Lead and mentor others, if you have the experience.
- Language Skills: fluent spoken and written English (business level),
- Java Expertise: hands-on experience with Java (Oracle/OpenJDK 17+),
- Frameworks & Tools: solid experience with Spring Boot, Gradle, Git, GitLab, and CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, Jenkins),
- Design Know-How: proficiency in UML, object-oriented design, and architecture patterns (DI, DDD, MVC/MVVM, ER diagrams),
- Databases: experience with PostgreSQL (version 10+) and relational database programming,
- Frontend Skills: familiarity with JSON, REST, XML, and debugging web applications,
- Cloud & Containers: experience with Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, and cloud solution development,
- Agile Methods: background in agile development, story estimation, and burndown chart usage,
- Advanced Programming: expertise in parallel, multithreaded, and asynchronous programming (TPL, Async/Await, Observer Pattern),
- Ability to travel 3-4 times per year for 3-4 days to Germany.
- Specialist knowledge: insights into care quality assessment, inpatient/general social medicine, and case assessment
- Technical knowledge and project experience - data exchange: Experience in data exchange with service providers, health insurance companies, and insured persons.
- Experience as team lead: proven experience as a team lead.
- Experience as Full-Stack Developer: experience as a Full-Stack Developer.
- Cloud experience: experience in developing cloud solutions.
- Automated deployments: hands-on experience with automated deployment tools (e.g., Ansible).
- Security: understanding of cryptography (PKI, PKCS#7), security guidelines in SHI (
