TalentBank is an original internship program of the Digital Technology Centre in Poland, which aim is to enable students and graduates to gain professional experience in IT / banking industry. The project can be attended by people who are students or graduates (up to 12 months after graduation). We look for students after second year of technical, mathematical, business, finance, economic or related studies.📢 Join our team as a Java Developer Intern! 📢In your role as a Junior Software Engineer you will be responsible for building applications and interfaces and integrate them into our IT landscape.Your main task is to deliver high quality solutions from deployment into test environments. You are also involved in supporting incidents, problems management and implementation of bug fixes or changes.What you will be doing? 👇

Development of applications for modern Cloud platform technology stacks (Dockerized, Microserivces, Serverless)
In case of incidents or issues, analysis of the problems in close collaboration with other teams
Creation of technical documentation
Preparing software builds and release packages for the move to test and production environments
Participate in scrum ceremonies (Daily, Planning, Review, Retro) using VidCo/Telco or - exceptionally - in person

Alternative tasks:

Developing automation tests using Java and Gauge Framework
Preparing software builds and release packages

Which technology & skills are important for us? 👇

Basic knowledge of Java J2EE, Spring
Basic knowledge of development of standard interfaces based on standard technologies as REST/SOAP/XML/WSDL

Nice to have:

Basic knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes
Basic knowledge of Test tools
Basic knowledge of CI/CD (Bitbucket, Teamcity)
Experience with Cloud Platform (e.g.: GCP, Azure, AWS)

CORE is a group wide static/master data application of Commerzbank AG which focus on person, ogranisation an group views. CORE comprises in different modules like CORE Person, CORE GlobalParty & Verbund and CORE Admin.The importance of person, ogranisation and group view has grown significantly in the last years because of regulatory requirements and from the sales point of view. It is therefore an integral part of our business model.The missing comprehensive person, ogranisation and group views in the Commerzbank group, has been compensated with single applications and predominant manuall workarounds.Because of new and existing regulatory requirements (i.e. tax requirements, granting of exemption applications, transfer of church tax, FATCA, Basel II and III, etc) it has been decided to incrementally rebuild the person, organisation and group views within CORE.The CORE applications are running by the cluster “Customer Data Management”. The cluster “Customer Data Management” maintain mainly applications about static/master data and MIFID II for Commerzbank AG.
