For one of our clients – a global real estate investment firm with local insight and a focus on sustainable, long-term value – we are looking for a person for the position of:AP Team LeaderResponsibilities:
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Accounts Payable specialists responsible for invoice processing, payments, and vendor maintenance
  • Ensure accurate and timely execution of AP transactions in line with company policies, service levels, and compliance requirements
  • Monitor and manage daily operations of the AP function, ensuring appropriate workload distribution and issue resolution
  • Support month-end closing activities by ensuring timely reconciliations, and reporting
  • Act as a point of contact for escalations and complex queries from internal stakeholders and vendors
  • Collaborate with internal teams including Accounting, and Treasury to ensure smooth end-to-end process flow
  • Contribute to process improvements, automation efforts, and implementation of best practices to increase efficiency and accuracy
  • Maintain and update process documentation, ensuring consistent knowledge across the team
  • Ensure proper internal controls are in place and support audits as required
  • Foster a positive, high-performing team culture focused on continuous learning, accountability, and service excellence
  • Support employee lifecycle activities such as onboarding, training, performance evaluation, and development planning
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Accounts Payable or a similar finance function, including 1+ year in a team leadership or supervisory role
  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Proficiency in English and Polish
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle) and exposure to workflow tools for invoice and payment processing
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills; ability to manage and motivate a team
  • Experience in a shared service or multinational environment is an asset
