The EMEA Customs Specialist will manage and be accountable all aspects of origin, customs and reporting topics for PPG. They will be responsible for data & documentation accuracy and related process management.They will work with suppliers and internal customers on compliance and proactively manage processes for effective export/import and implementation of any changes on time and in compliance.Location: Wrocław, ul. Curie-Skłodowskiej 12Work model: HybridResponsibilities:PREFERENTIAL ORIGIN

Preparing preferential origin calculations for PPG products
Preparation of preferential supplier’s declaration documents on request from the stakeholders
Collection and maintenance of preferential supplier’s declarations
Supporting external suppliers and customers with origin related requests via mail and electronic /phone communication
Maintaining and monitoring of origin related master data in ERP and GTM in cooperation with Master Data team

AUDITS & POST SHIPMENT REVIEWS

Ensuring that suitable audit trails / change control is in place to ensure data integrity and control
Support of external and internal audit commitments
Implement post audit corrective actions

SERVICE

Handling requests from various internal customers related to customs matters
Responding to incoming queries in a timely and professional manner to deliver a positive customer experience in each interaction.
Building sustainable relationships and trust with internal and external parties
Cooperation with stakeholders regarding execution of commissioned assigments
Reporting and communicating of performance

Key qualifications:

2-3 years of experience in customs/foreign trade
Experience with preferential origin & CoO determination
Degree level in administration or logistics

Key competencies:

Organization and attention to detail
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
Creative analytical / investigative skills
Must be proficient with Windows and Microsoft Office (including Excel and Outlook)
Strong computer skills. Experience with SAP and Oracle R12 is preferred but not required
Strong oral and written communication skills and good customer orientation skills
