
Key Account Manager Merchant

- Manage relationships with strategic and large customers, both locally and internationally.
- Negotiate contract terms including pricing, blocking issue formulas, and payment conditions.
- Drive business growth by identifying new opportunities and implementing innovative technologies.
- Work together with internal teams (supply chain, engineering, legal, credit control) and external collaborators (procurement, production, quality).
- Conduct safety audits and ensure compliance with the highest safety standards.
- Lead contract renewals, risk assessments, and ensure business continuity.
- Apply tools like Workbook, AAC, AP Direct, VL, and SFA to implement business rules and processes.
- Achieve sales and customer service targets (e.g., conversion margin, retention, churn rate).
- Budget planning for assigned customer group (volume, revenue).
- Navigate international business cultures and e-tendering platforms.
- Influence cross-functional teams to meet customer expectations and company goals.
- Negotiate within your approval matrix and manage contract risks.
- Master’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of B2B experience, including corporate customer management.
- Experience across multiple product lines.
- Strong commercial competence and proven sales skills.
- Proficient in English (additional languages are a bonus).
- Valid driving license.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Strategic approach with the ability to work independently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Air Products systems (Excel, PowerPoint, SFA, GPS, SAP).
