- The IT Project Management Office, within Skanska Central Europe business unit, is an internal coordination center of all non-construction (business) projects with IT component.

- IT PMO provides service to our PMs, based on knowledge and experience with project management. It ensures PMs stick to the internal methodology, that the projects are delivered in time and in quality.
- IT PMO is a methodological center of project management, which also includes the function of internal consulting on IT project management practices.
- IT PMO drive the change capacity and prioritizes the projects backlog.
- IT PMO ensures the overall planning of projects in terms of resources and commitment of people, coordination of activities, decision-making and transfer of completed projects to the management of assigned IT representative.
- support mid-size projects in diverse, multilanguage environment.
- provide expertise in IT project management, including project management methodology and tools.
- coordinate the preparation of documents for the review, prioritization and approval of new IT initiatives and projects.
- supervise ongoing IT projects throughout the whole project life cycle and deliver accurate and up to date status reports.
- monitor execution of the IT project budget.
- provide internal training and consultations to our PMs.
- participate in the preparation of tenders, look after the IT investment plan and advice on contractual arrangements of new IT projects.
