Finance Manager/Warsaw

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis; identify cost-saving and investment opportunities.
• Ensure accurate and timely accounting, either in SAP or via external providers.
• Support financial planning, reporting, and business development through modeling and analysis.
• Coordinate budgeting timelines with Group Controlling.
• Manage banking and insurance relationships for the Polish affiliate, including payroll, tax, and compliance matters.
• Act as a financial partner to drive performance improvement and risk management.
• Develop financial models for strategic initiatives, ensuring compliance with corporate standards.
• Prepare monthly reports, variance analysis, and full P&L reviews.
• Monitor key performance indicators and recommend improvement actions.
• Oversee outsourced services including tax reporting and audits.

• Master degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in finance, controlling, or accounting, preferably in an international environment
• Experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare industry
• In-depth understanding of IFRS and good understanding of preparing financial statements.
• Understanding of local Polish financial, tax and reporting rules and guidelines
• Full proficiency in Polish and English
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Strong work ethic with high levels of resilience
