- Managing a Peek & Cloppenburg store, with direct responsibility for overall sales performance, turnover, merchandise range & sales optimisation
- Leading and coordinating the various sales departments, including Visual Merchandising, Instore Logistics and Cash Administration
- Building, developing and motivating the team by managing the recruitment and people development process
- Ensuring an exceptional customer service experience throughout the store
- Managing the development of key operational KPI’s, in order to boost ongoing profitability and sales
- Coordinating and optimising the selection of store merchandise together with the buying departments, located in our head offices in Vienna and Düsseldorf
- Ensuring store appearance complies with corporate VM guidelines and standards
- A minimum of 5 years leadership experience, ideally in the textile, FMCG or services sector
- Successful completion of higher academic or business qualification, preferably in the field of economics or management
- Excellent knowledge of the current retail market and competitive market position
- Strong customer and service orientation
- High level of commitment, initiative and a hands-on approach
- Organisational and analytical skills as well as strategic thinking
- Excellent English language skills – German language skills are an added advantage
- Flexibility in terms of location is a must
