If you match this description, get in touch!We’re looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer whose main responsibility is to manage the end-to-end quality relationship with allocated supply base, qualify suppliers, validate and release components and implement supplier quality functional excellence initiatives.You’ll be part of the Signify Factory Quality Team whose main responsibility is to ensure that our products fulfill our brand promise and comply with all requirements ultimately providing highest level of satisfaction to our customers, so quality mindset must be in your DNA.What you’ll do

Set quality requirements and manage quality related to suppliers and their products
Implement sustainability and supplier development processes for suppliers’ continuous compliance
Drive resolution of difficult problems and complaints (having several root causes) at single suppliers
Lead and co-decide on qualification of suppliers based on their competences and competitiveness during qualification audits
Drive early supplier engagement in the NPI process, validate and (dis)approve release of components, assemblies and processes at suppliers. Own the PPAP process.

What you’ll need

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
Experience in a technology/manufacturing environment preferably in supplier quality
University/college degree in an engineering discipline
Knowledge of quality tools (e.g. PPAP, D/PFMEA) and problem solving techniques (e.g. 5xWhy, 8D, Fault tree)
Impactful communication and assertiveness
Good team player
You have at least intermediate level of English
Green Belt certificate and auditor qualifications are ideal
