Team Leader AP

• Oversee the daily operations of the team, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
• Ensure invoices are coded correctly, matched with purchase orders, and approved in a timely manner
• Identify areas for improvement, implement automation, and standardize processes to enhance efficiency
• Plan and conduct regular team meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and upcoming tasks.
• Motivate team members and monitor performance
• Monitor timely payments and manage procedures
• Drive process improvements and maintain documentation
• Support audits, tax reporting, and period-end closings

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Strong understanding of the accounts payable process and relevant accounting principles.
• Leadership skills
• Fluency in English (C1)
• Good knowledge of German (min. B2)
• MS Excel and SAP knowledge
• Ability to work under time pressure
• Knowledge and experience in project management
• Analytical skills
